What this job involves:As an Events Coordinator, Meetings and Events at JLL, you will report to the Assistant Program Manager and work closely with internal vendors and key stakeholders to facilitate and support local Amazon events taking place in key buildings within Amazon corporate offices while ensuring professional service excellence in a fast-paced, demanding corporate environment. This comprehensive events coordination role combines logistical expertise with customer service excellence, requiring you to process event requests and correspond with Amazon customers while troubleshooting during events to ensure successful event operations and responding to and acting on customer feedback. You will play a crucial role in JLL's commitment to exceptional event management by supporting and maintaining good inter-vendor communications between Facilities, Catering, AV, Reception, Janitorial and Engineering as requested while being responsible for coordination of resources to ensure spaces are cleaned, set and ready for events and committed to event related projects such as documenting trends, recognizing opportunities for process efficiencies, and improving policies and procedures related to internal events and spaces.What your day-to-day will look like:Process event requests and correspond with Amazon customers while ensuring clear communication and professional service deliveryTroubleshoot during events to ensure successful event operations while maintaining high standards of execution and customer satisfactionRespond to and act on customer feedback while continuously improving event coordination processes and service qualitySupport and maintain good inter-vendor communications between Facilities, Catering, AV, Reception, Janitorial and Engineering teamsCoordinate resources to ensure spaces are cleaned, set and ready for events while managing multiple event logistics simultaneouslyDocument trends and recognize opportunities for process efficiencies while improving policies and procedures for internal eventsSupport Assistant Program Manager with additional duties as assigned in support of Events Program Manager responsibilitiesFacilitate local Amazon events in key buildings while ensuring spaces meet corporate standards and event requirements.Required Qualifications:Ability and attentiveness to multi-task with capacity to interact with employees, visitors and contractors with poise and diplomacyAdvanced competence with variety of software including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and other requested software programsCommunicate effectively both verbally and written with excellent grammar and proofreading abilities for professional correspondenceApply principles of rational systems and deal with variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization existsInterpret instructions in written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form while possessing initiative to assume additional responsibilitiesSet priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced, demanding corporate environment with Amazon event coordination experienceUnderstanding of event requests processing and customer correspondence with troubleshooting capabilities during eventsKnowledge of inter-vendor communications coordination between Facilities, Catering, AV, Reception, Janitorial and Engineering teams.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in events coordination role with local corporate events facilitation in key buildings within corporate officesKnowledge of resources coordination to ensure spaces are cleaned, set and ready for events with logistics managementUnderstanding of event related projects including documenting trends and recognizing opportunities for process efficienciesBackground in policies and procedures improvement related to internal events and spaces with customer feedback managementExperience supporting Assistant Program Manager and Events Program Manager with additional duties and responsibilitiesKnowledge of Amazon corporate environment with understanding of fast-paced, demanding event coordination requirementsUnderstanding of professional service excellence delivery with customer requests and inquiries management capabilitiesExperience with excitement for helping to build and maintain event support with continuous improvement mindset.Location: On-siteWhat you can expect from us:You'll join an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture where we succeed together – across the desk and around the globeOur Total Rewards program reflects our commitment to helping you achieve your ambitions in career, recognition, wellbeing, benefits and payJoin us to develop your strengths and enjoy a fulfilling career full of varied experiences.
