Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer – HVAC Projects to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring adherence to design, quality, and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and site teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining accurate project documentation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to delivering reliable, high-performance HVAC solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems according to design specifications.
  • Coordinate daily operations with subcontractors, technicians, and other team members to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Interact with end customer / architect / authoritative site person to coordinate site activities and make necessary informed suggestions on site.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend practical solutions on-site.
  • Maintain accurate site records including daily reports, material usage, and installation logs.
  • Communicate project updates to senior engineers and project managers regularly.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with specialization in HVAC preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning, preferably in large commercial or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC system components, controls, and installation procedures.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and design specifications.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills for liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks on-site under tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office tools and site documentation practices.
  • Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.
