Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed HVAC shop drawings, P & ID, Layouts for Ducting, Piping, Cleanroom zoning, schematics using AutoCAD.
  • Review and interpret HVAC design drawings, tender documents, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil) to ensure drawing accuracy.
  • Update and modify existing drawings as per design changes, site conditions, and consultant/client feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and company guidelines.
  • Maintain proper documentation and drawing records for project handover.
  • Support the site team by providing drawing clarifications and resolving drawing-related issues.

Eligibility / Qualifications

  • Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or Draftsmanship (or equivalent qualification).
  • 1-5 years of experience in HVAC drafting will be preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Good knowledge of HVAC systems (ducting, piping, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, ventilation).
  • Ability to read and understand architectural/structural drawings.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in drawing work.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
