JOB Title:- Category Manager (Tools & Appliance)

The context:

Naaptol is the No. 1 home shopping channel In India based on the Market place model with focus on building a robust & profitable platform for brands & sellers & creating delight among the customer base. This position is critical for category management as owner for the appliances category & will be responsible for building a strong product portfolio, brand selection, assortment and availability to ensure value proposition to the customer is met all the time.

Key Objective of the Job:

To drive and enable growth of appliances category, enabling choice to customers thereby meeting and exceeding revenue, margins and growth targets.

Major Deliverables:

  • To develop and implement Tools & Appliances & DIY category business plan consistent with the overall category strategy and within allocated budget.
  • To focus on achieving desired focus brand sales mix, develop & enhance new product offering, focus on creating innovative products & managing the overall sales mix with launch of new brands.
  • Line up new brands/vendors/traders/suppliers & on board them to sell their products on Naaptol platform.
  • To Co-ordinate and research on category trends & competition for this category to make inroads for sustained growth for present & future.
  • To endure that the key metrics governing the health of this category is met, including conversion rate, NPS and right ratio of GMV: NMV. (Sales & margins).
  • To achieve financial output such as targeted NMV, AMOp and profit contribution.
  • Interface with internal teams (cross functional) to develop sales strategy & drive sales & margins.
  • Focus on Inventory Management & stock rotation for the bestselling SKUS, Plan optimal inventory levels for import & local manufacturing.
