About the Role

The organization is seeking a highly analytical and business-minded E-Commerce Performance & Insights Manager to take full ownership of digital performance tracking, optimization, and insights generation across online sales channels.

This role plays a critical part in enabling the sales team to make informed, data-driven decisions, enhance conversion outcomes, and identify growth opportunities. The incumbent will be responsible for designing and maintaining a comprehensive measurement framework to ensure that relevant data is consistently captured, interpreted, and actioned across the entire e-commerce customer journey.

While not a technical role, it requires close management of platforms, workflows, and strategies that support the companys analytics maturity. This position serves as a bridge between digital execution, campaign performance, and sales impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement insights-driven changes that result in a minimum of 20–30% improvement in product page-to-checkout conversion rates year-over-year
  • Optimize customer journeys using funnel analysis and behavioural data to reduce drop-offs.
  • Drive at least 40% uplift in online revenue year-over-year by enabling sales and marketing teams with actionable insights, campaign diagnostics, and timely performance reports.
  • Influence spend allocation based on performance insights to improve ROI.
  • Establish reporting frameworks that reduce decision-making lag by 30%, enabling faster campaign iteration and real-time optimization.
  • Demonstrate measurable impact of campaigns through attribution models—directly linking digital activity to online sales.
  • Ensure 100% accurate tracking and data hygiene across key customer touchpoints—leading to reliable reporting and decision-making.
  • Reduce reporting errors and manual reconciliation by automating dashboards for sales and marketing teams.
  • Translate analytical findings into monthly actionable insights decks tailored for leadership and sales teams.
  • Design, implement, and manage a robust measurement and insights framework aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee tracking setup and governance across all digital touchpoints, including website, campaigns, channels, and CRM systems.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to surface key trends, funnel performance, conduct deep-dive analyses, and uncover insights on user behaviour, traffic sources, and conversion performance.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to provide actionable insights that contribute to revenue growth.
  • Define and govern KPIs, attribution models, funnel analysis and testing frameworks to evaluate the impact of digital initiatives.
  • Promote analytics best practices internally, ensuring all digital efforts are strategically measurable.
  • Ensure consistent data quality and troubleshoot tracking or reporting discrepancies in coordination with internal tech teams and external vendors.
  • Coordinate with internal tech teams and external partners as needed for tagging, data integration, or platform setup—while retaining business-side ownership.
  • Work closely with CRM teams to integrate customer data across platforms and enhance segmentation and lifecycle marketing strategies.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in digital analytics and insights, with a proven track record of using data to influence business outcomes.
  • Strong familiarity with analytics platforms such as CRM tools, sales analytics systems, and tag management solutions.
  • Deep understanding of online customer journeys, digital funnels, and conversion optimization strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, UX, and product teams.
  • Skilled in translating complex data sets into clear business recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Capable of leading initiatives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
