Position Summary:

The Interior Sales Consultant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, expert product knowledge, and tailored design advice to help clients create beautiful and functional interior spaces. This role combines interior design expertise with strong sales acumen to achieve sales targets and ensure client satisfaction from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage clients in the showroom, understanding their needs, style preferences, and project goals.
  • Provide professional design advice and product recommendations (furniture, finishes, fabrics, lighting, etc.) that align with client requirements and budgets.
  • Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and quotations as needed to support sales proposals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from initial consultation and quotation through order processing, delivery, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends, product lines, and pricing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, installers, and design teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients through exceptional service and follow-up.
  • Maintain a visually appealing and organized showroom in accordance with brand standards.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track leads, client communications, and sales activity.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in interior design, furniture sales, or a similar client-facing sales role.
  • Strong visual and spatial awareness with excellent design sense.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Proficient in design and sales software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or CRM tools).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
