We are seeking a
Business Development & Project Manager
to join our Noida office. The role combines client-facing business development responsibilities with hands-on project management of communication and reporting assignments. You will be responsible for driving new business opportunities while ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of ongoing projects for our clients.
This is a key leadership role requiring strong communication skills, client management, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporates, listed companies, and financial institutions; build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Develop proposals, pitches, and pricing models, and actively participate in negotiations to secure mandates.
- Act as the single point of contact for clients, managing expectations, feedback cycles, and approvals with professionalism.
- Plan and oversee the execution of corporate communication projects — including annual reports, ESG disclosures, investor decks, and brand storytelling assets.
- Coordinate with internal teams (content, design, research, production) to ensure smooth workflows, timely delivery, and strategic alignment.
- Monitor budgets, resource utilization, and profitability while mitigating risks and resolving issues proactively.
- Track market trends in reporting, ESG, and corporate communications to inform client conversations and strengthen The Grapheme's positioning.
- Maintain accurate records of business development pipelines, project trackers, and client reporting for internal use and decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-4+ years of relevant experience in corporate communications, consulting, reporting, or a creative/strategy agency.
- Proven track record in business development and project management.
- Strong knowledge of corporate reporting (annual reports, ESG, integrated reporting) and brand communication.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to craft pitches and manage senior client conversations (CFOs, IR heads, CXOs).
- Solid project management skills, with experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder assignments.
- Strong financial and business acumen to understand client industries and reporting requirements.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
