Role & responsibilities

  1. Define and implement the engineering strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  2. Drive innovation in product and process development to maintain a competitive edge.
  3. Lead multi locations engineering teams.
  4. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and key technical milestones.
  5. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
  6. Analyze details received from S&M / Customers, conduct techno commercial feasibility, communicate findings to S&M to support decision making on accepting/ rejecting RFQs or prepare offer.
  7. Finalize project cost estimations to ensure they are both optimal and accurate.
  8. Evaluate and ensure the most suitable manufacturing process is selected.
  9. Review the master plan covering process, design, layout, workflow & facility requirements.
  10. Prepare the Capex proposal and obtain necessary approvals to initiate the project.
  11. Regularly review the master plan & conduct calibration meetings to align with customer timelines, ensuring timely submission of T0, T1, T2 samples and SOP.
  12. Define project scope, objectives & deliverables, develop & implement project plans, Co-ordinate team activities, monitor progress, resolve issues, manage budgets, resources & timelines to ensure successful & timely project completion.
  13. Oversee all activities from RFQ to development, ensuring achievement of Customer Phase Gates (APQP) & verification of the product prior to production startup. Manage the complete project costing, timeline, project charter, including vendor finalization & development of DAP (Dies/ Tools/ Welding Fixtures/ Panel Checkers/ Welding Line/ SPM/ Equipment).
