Job Overview

Shri Consultancy Services is seeking a dedicated Junior Store Assistant to join our team in Indore. This full-time position requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will support store operations and provide exemplary customer service in line with our commitment to excellence in recruiting and staff management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with inventory management software is mandatory as it's essential for tracking and maintaining optimal stock levels effectively and efficiently (Mandatory skill).
  • Customer service skills are crucial for ensuring a positive shopping experience, addressing inquiries, and resolving customer issues promptly and professionally (Mandatory skill).
  • Point-of-Sale system proficiency is essential to facilitate customer transactions accurately and efficiently, improving overall store performance.
  • Proficiency in cash handling to ensure precise and secure monetary transactions and daily reconciliation processes within the store environment.
  • Merchandising experience to arrange and maintain appealing store displays that attract customers and boost product sales.
  • Strong product knowledge to assist customers with inquiries and recommendations, facilitating informed purchasing decisions.
  • Adept multitasking skills to efficiently manage various store operations and customer interactions simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and build positive relationships with customers and team members.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels effectively, including the receiving, stocking, and tracking of merchandise.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems efficiently to process sales transactions and generate accurate sales receipts.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting customers with product selection, inquiries, and resolving issues.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including maintaining the cash register and ensuring secure handling of payments.
  • Implement merchandising strategies to maintain organized store shelves and attractive visual displays.
  • Maintain product knowledge to answer customer questions and provide recommendations to aid purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with the store team for daily operations, including organizing promotions and sales events.
  • Follow all store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive working environment.
