At DanaMojo, we have developed India's first payment solutions platform especially for NGOs, providing an easy and convenient way for donors to give and for NGOs to manage these donations. Over the last 9 years we have onboarded 1,300+ NGOs and aim to onboard 10,000+ NGOs over the next 10 years. We have received seed funding from Social Alpha and Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies.

As the Inside Sales Manager you will lead our sales team on acquisition of NGOs – from lead generation to conversion.

At the heart, we are still a startup, so we are in "always-on" mode. You need to have a high degree of enthusiasm, energy and an ability and willingness to put in whatever it takes to get the job done. You will need a high degree of execution focus and take ideas from concept to planning to execution in the shortest possible time.

It is mandatory to have prior inside sales experience in selling to businesses/SMEs and team management. Experience in lead generation will be an added advantage while applying for this role. We are looking at folks who are strong both in selling to the customer and servicing them. And we are looking at folks with connection to the social sector for whom this is more of a passionate endeavor than simply a job. While a number of years of experience is not the most important thing, significant achievement in business development, partnerships, sales and team management is important and will be judged for.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Manager is expected to lead the team and manage the entire sales cycle, including:

  • Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the inside sales team focused on NGO acquisition.
  • End-to-End Sales Process: Oversee the entire sales funnel, from qualifying leads (inbound and outbound) to closing deals and ensuring smooth onboarding.
  • Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective inside sales strategies to achieve ambitious NGO acquisition targets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Rigorously track sales metrics, analyze performance, and generate reports for the leadership team.
  • Client Engagement: Handle complex client queries, provide platform demonstrations, and ensure client satisfaction to drive successful sales conversion.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine sales processes, improve customer delight, and optimize lead management.

Qualifications

We are looking for significant achievement in business development, partnerships, sales, and team management. This role is NOT for freshers.

  • Experience: 3 to 8 years of total professional experience
  • Sales Specialization:
  • Most recent experience must be in Sales, with a minimum of 2 years of Inside Sales experience (i.e., selling over the phone to businesses/SMEs).
  • A significant part of your overall experience should be in Sales.
  • Prior experience in team management and lead generation is mandatory.
  • Communication: Strong communication – both oral & written in English. Fluent communication in English is required (Hindi fluency is preferred).
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical capabilities (fantastic on Excel) and an ability to grasp things fast.
  • Mindset: An ability to think both innovatively and creatively, coupled with an almost crazy willingness to learn.
  • Technical: Should have a working laptop and reliable WiFi connection for remote work.
