Role Overview

The Business Finance team at TripJack partners closely with business, product, and leadership teams to deliver

accurate forecasts, drive financial performance, and enable strategic decision-making. This role will be

responsible for owning financial planning cycles, building forecasts, tracking performance against AOP, and

providing actionable insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Forecasting

 Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles (AOP, rolling forecasts).

 Build and maintain financial models across GMV, Revenue, Gross Margin, Opex, and Working Capital.

 Work with business units to set targets, assess risks & opportunities, and ensure alignment with

company strategy.

  • Performance Tracking & Insights

 Develop and maintain daily / weekly / monthly performance dashboards and MIS reports by LOB.

 Track budget vs actuals, highlight variances, and drive deep dives into business performance.

 Partner with Sales, Product, and Operations to translate trends into actionable interventions.

  • Decision Support & Strategic Initiatives

 Provide financial inputs for new business initiatives, pricing strategies, and growth projects.

 Work with cross-functional teams to size opportunities, model ROI, and support decision-making

through scenario analysis.

 Support frameworks to assess cost allocation, profitability, and working capital efficiency.

  • Process Excellence & Automation

 Contribute to the evolution from manual MIS to automated reporting and rolling forecast frameworks.

 Work closely with Tech/BI teams to ensure data accuracy, improve visibility, and drive standardization

across metrics.

 Identify gaps in financial visibility and implement sustainable processes to close them.

Required Skills & Experience
 CA with 0–2 years of post-qualification experience. Big 4 experience and/or industrial training in

finance roles preferred.

 Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present

insights clearly.

 Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; exposure to BI tools (Power BI / Metabase / Tableau) is a plus
