Role & responsibilities :

  • Prepare detailed land development drawings, including boundary surveys, site plans, and topographic maps, adhering to US standards and practices.
  • Process and integrate point cloud data into CAD software to create accurate 2D/3D models and topographic drawings.
  • Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D for drafting tasks, such as grading, drainage design, and alignment layouts.
  • Work with Trimble Business Center for point cloud cleanup, surface creation, and volume calculations.
  • Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure deliverables meet client requirements and project deadlines.
  • Manage and maintain a library of drafting templates, layers, and styles for consistency across projects.
  • Review and QC drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
  • Stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and trends in land development drafting and point cloud processing.

Preferred candidate profile :

  • Education: Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience:

  • 1.5+ years of experience in drafting for land development projects in the US.

  • Hands-on experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center is a must.
  • Proficiency in processing point clouds for generating accurate deliverables.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of land development concepts and drafting standards in the US.
  • Ability to work with survey data, point clouds, and geospatial datasets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3D LIDAR point cloud processing and photogrammetry workflows.
  • Familiarity with additional CAD tools and software, such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Knowledge of geospatial software and survey equipment workflows.
  • Understanding of ALTA/NSPS standards and other survey-related practices.
