Role Overview

As a QA Lead, you will lead a team of 5+ QA engineers, collaborating closely with the Engineering and Product teams to ensure the highest standards of product quality. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will define QA processes, establish best practices, and drive automation across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end testing of data pipelines, dashboards, and platform features.
  • Set up and lead the QA function, defining best practices and test frameworks.
  • Design, manage, and review test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
  • Champion test automation and performance/stress testing initiatives.
  • Mentor and groom junior QA engineers to develop their technical and testing skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality releases.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of overall QA experience, with strong automation expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge in QA Automation and Performance/Stress Testing.
  • Experience in creating, documenting, and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Proficiency in Python or equivalent scripting language for end-to-end automation.
  • Experience with AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.
  • Good communication skills and ability to articulate design/test strategies.
  • Exposure to databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
