The OpportunityWe are seeking a meticulous and driven QA Lead to lead our software quality operations and ensure the highest standards across all our products. As a key member of the technology team, you will define and implement robust QA strategies, processes, and automation frameworks that support scalable, high-performance software delivery. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and CS teams to uphold product excellence and release reliability. As the QA Manager, you'll report directly to the CTO and you'll oversee the end-to-end quality lifecycle — from test planning and execution to continuous improvement — while mentoring QA engineers and fostering a culture of precision, accountability, and innovation.

What You Will Achieve and Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, Lead and Scale the QA Function
Lead the QA function at Parspec, defining the strategy, processes, and tools that ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Design and implement comprehensive QA frameworks — including test-case strategy, test planning, automation testing, performance testing, and regression — to support fast and reliable product releases.
Develop and maintain test automation pipelines integrated with CI/CD workflows to improve release efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Define quality metrics and reporting mechanisms that provide clear visibility into product health and release readiness.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to embed quality early in the development lifecycle and drive continuous improvement.
Oversee release certification, ensuring every deployment meets functional, performance, and usability expectations.
Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing QA team, fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and innovation.
Partner with leadership to shape the long-term QA strategy, including automation goals, tool selection, and resource planning.
Advocate for best practices in software testing, risk management, and defect prevention, ensuring quality becomes a shared organizational priority.
Stay abreast of emerging QA technologies and methodologies, continuously evolving our practices to meet the demands of scale and innovation.
Contribute to the company's mission of digitizing the construction technology ecosystem by ensuring that every product we deliver is robust, reliable, and user-trusted.
Your leadership will be pivotal in establishing the foundation of quality across Parspec's digital products, ensuring reliability, scalability, and trust in every release. By building a world-class QA function, you will play a central role in strengthening the performance and stability of the platforms that power Parspec's mission to digitize the construction industry. Your work will directly impact how customers experience our technology — driving confidence, accelerating innovation, and enabling our teams to deliver with precision at scale.
Who You AreMinimum QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 2–3 years in a QA leadership or management role.
Proven experience in establishing or scaling QA processes, frameworks, and automation strategies for complex software systems.
Strong command over QA methodologies, test design techniques, and defect management processes across web and API-based applications.
Demonstrable hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Pytest, or similar.
Practical knowledge of CI/CD workflows and integration of automated testing pipelines within modern DevOps environments.
Demonstrated ability to hire, mentor, and lead QA teams toward measurable quality and productivity goals.
Prior hands-on experience with both manual and automated QA execution for software applications
Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and release management practices.
Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java) for automation and tooling.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify quality gaps, measure performance, and drive process improvements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Prior experience as the first QA leader in a startup or fast-scaling technology company, setting up QA functions from the ground up.
Experience designing and implementing scalable automation architectures for web and API testing.
Familiarity with AWS and containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with performance, security, and reliability testing and related tools.
Exposure to release engineering, observability, and monitoring tools for production-quality validation.
Working knowledge of test data management, synthetic data generation, and environment configuration for automated testing.
Experience integrating QA workflows into CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Experience collaborating with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
ISTQB, CSTE, or other recognized QA certifications are a plus.
