We're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to lead our QA team at MoEngage. In this leadership role, you'll manage our Inbound team, develop testing strategies, and ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.

• Define and implement test strategies, automation frameworks, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of QA processes. 
• Oversee the planning, design, execution, and maintenance of both manual and automated test cases, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sr QA Engineers and QA Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Manage and prioritize multiple teams while ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality software
• Track Quality metrics/KPIs and providing regular reports to stakeholders,
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, designers and Engineernig Leaders, to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in test automation technologies to drive innovation within the QA team
• Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and techniques. Ensure that the QA process is efficient, scalable, and measurable.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a quality advocate working with product managers, developers, and DevOps to define acceptance criteria and ensure product requirements are met.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions to identify potential risks and dependencies.
• Provide regular updates on QA metrics, progress, and challenges to stakeholders.

What we're looking for:

• 10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Must have experience with SaaS products in the cloud at a global scale 
• Proven expertise in UI automation frameworks and tools preferably Playwright.
• Experience in programming languages such as Python.
• Experience with API testing and automation tools like Postman or Pytest
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, Agile
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Ability to manage, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while driving a culture of quality and excellence.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the QA team, mentoring junior testers and enhancing their skills and knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple teams and projects effectively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Good to have experience in Mobile app testing.
