• Perform live migration of Edge nodes during planned maintenance activities.


• Configure and manage logging, metrics, and alerting for store clusters.


• Deploy and manage secrets for new markets.


• Provide lab support functions previously handled by Google PSO team.


• Monitor and maintain store cluster health in Google Cloud Console.


• Create and manage Service Café incidents for operational issues.


• Triage and process change requests for production environments.


• Apply maintenance windows to store clusters in Google Console.


• Respond to and resolve Robin Master synchronization issues.


• Act on configured alerts in Google Console.


• Maintain and update runbooks for Edge events.


• Perform VM restarts via Edge node restart for hung VMs.


• Execute graceful shutdown requests in Google Cloud.


• Participate in Major Incident Management (P1) as primary contact for triage and resolution.


• Join incident bridges initiated by the Major Incident Management team for service recovery and restoration.


• Coordinate store-impacting changes and escalate to Restaurant Technology Support team as needed.


• Coordinate and communicate new releases for the Edge platform in alignment with GDCC Release Management guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and console operations.


• Experience with Kubernetes, containerized environments, and Edge computing.


• Familiarity with incident management processes and tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Service Café).


• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Google Operations Suite).


• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve synchronization and VM issues.


• Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-team collaboration.


• Strong documentation skills for maintaining runbooks and operational guides.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management processes.
