What we need:

Reporting to the Manager Finance, this role will be for accounting and reporting responsibilities, working closely with employees, external vendors, service providers, etc. This role will be based in Mumbai BKC.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintaining financial records and accounting systems
  • Preparing schedules for financial statements and monthly reports
  • Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Filing tax returns and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assisting in internal audits and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Providing support to other members of the finance team as needed
  • Actively champion and comply with policies and procedures related to workplace health & safety, information security, environmental, quality, and energy management systems, incident management, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate:

  • Experience: 0 to 2 years
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Education level: Bachelor of Commerce Degree
  • Certifications/Licenses: Not mandatory
