Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time Junior Accountant role located in Mumbai. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for performing daily accounting tasks, preparing financial documents, tracking company expenses, and assisting in financial reporting. Additional responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and supporting internal audits. The candidate will collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure the company's financial operations run efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting software, bookkeeping, and financial reporting tools
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and numerical accuracy
  • Good communication skills to work effectively within teams and with stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Prior experience in accounting or finance-related roles is an advantage
