Deputy Manager HR Payroll

Job Summary:
The Deputy Manager – HR (Payroll & Statutory Compliance) will be responsible for end-to-end payroll management, statutory compliance including EPF, ESI, Professional Tax, Gratuity, and other employee-related HR processes. This role ensures accurate and timely processing, adherence to labor laws, and smooth HR operations while maintaining employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:1. Payroll Management
- End-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Salary calculations, deductions, arrears, bonuses, reimbursements, leave encashment.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries.
- Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement and reporting.
2. Statutory Compliance
- Manage EPF and ESI registration, contributions, reconciliations, and submissions.
- Ensure Professional Tax (PT) compliance: calculation, deductions, filing, and payments.
- Calculate, manage, and ensure timely payment of Gratuity as per Payment of Gratuity Act.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and other statutory requirements.
- Assist employees with PF, ESI, PT, and Gratuity claims and settlements.
3. HR Operations
- Maintain employee records, joiners, leavers, and personnel files.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and HR reporting.
- Train and guide junior HR/Payroll staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Assist management in HR-related decision-making with data and insights.
4. Audits & Reporting
- Prepare reports related to payroll, statutory compliance, PT, Gratuity, and HR metrics.
- Support internal and statutory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Identify process improvements in payroll and statutory compliance to increase efficiency.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
