Position Overview:
As a Business Development Associate, you will work in an exciting and fast-growing industry at a time when many verticals in payments are being disrupted and transformed. Paymentwall's unique payment products are designed to service the needs of many merchants in different verticals, making this an unlimited opportunity for Paymentwall Business Development Associates to create growth for the company and themselves.
What You Will Do
- Identify high-potential businesses, verticals, and markets to develop and execute outbound sales strategies to onboard new clients to Paymentwall.
- Own and manage your sales pipeline from lead generation, pitching, negotiations, getting agreements signed up to handing over the deal to the Account Management Team;
- Explore the pain points of customers, understand their needs, and propose high-value solutions in a consultative sales style;
- Ensure the timely and successful integration of merchants and provide sales support according to their needs.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and other teams to develop and execute sales and marketing activities;
- Represent Paymentwall at conferences, client meetings, and other industry-related events;
- Learn about the industry and how Paymentwall provides a competitive solution to your potential customers.
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Excellent presentation and communication skills across various mediums (calls, video, email, in-person).
- Strong proficiency with LinkedIn for outreach and business networking.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts in clear, business-relevant language.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, prospecting strategies, and pipeline management.
- Good understanding of sales cycles in B2B environments.
- Strong intercultural competence; experience working with international teams.
- Professional demeanor with solid work ethic and attention to business etiquette.
Who Should Apply:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, fintech, payments, or digital services.
- A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes ownership of results.
- Someone with a natural interest in business and entrepreneurship.
- Ambitious and highly motivated to grow within a global business development team.
- Passionate about technology, digital innovation, and startup culture.
- No restrictions on business travel.
