Operations Manager

Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functioning of all operational departments within the hotel to ensure exceptional guest experiences, smooth operations, and adherence to brand standards. The role involves supervising department heads, implementing operational strategies, maintaining cost controls, and ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Security, Maintenance, and other support departments.
- Ensure smooth coordination between all departments for seamless guest service.
- Review operational SOPs and ensure adherence across departments.
- Conduct regular operational audits to maintain service quality and efficiency.
2. Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure all guest concerns are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Monitor guest feedback through reviews, surveys, and direct communication.
- Lead initiatives to improve guest satisfaction scores and loyalty.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and guest engagement.
3. Staff Management & Development
- Supervise department heads and conduct daily briefings.
- Ensure proper manpower planning and training within all departments.
- Monitor staff performance and provide continuous coaching and feedback.
- Promote a positive work culture and ensure adherence to HR policies.
4. Financial & Cost Control
- Assist the General Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and operational cost control.
- Monitor departmental expenses to ensure alignment with budget.
- Optimize operational efficiency without compromising service quality.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvement.
5. Safety, Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, statutory regulations, fire & safety norms.
- Conduct safety drills, hygiene audits, and quality checks regularly.
- Maintain coordination with local authorities for necessary approvals and certifications.
6. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate closely with the General Manager for operational planning and improvements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Participate in management meetings and support strategic decisions.
- Facilitate communication between departments for problem-solving and workflow improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of hotel operations experience, including supervisory roles.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of hotel management software (IDS, Opera, or similar).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a guest-first mindset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹60, ₹65,000.00 per month
