Business Unit HRPA Head

Job Purpose:

Act as a business partner and manage all HR requirements of the business to drive results and

implement strategies in providing solution to Entire Gamut of HR / IR / L&D/ Admin /

Performance & Talent for Auto Component Business and achieve Business Efficiency / Results

in line with Group policy and Guidelines.

Talent Strategy, Manpower Planning & Budgeting:

1. Estimate and deliver strategic HR requirements of the business, in line with business

goals and strategy.

1. Implement HR strategies as per directions of Group Corporate for Business Unit (BU)

and establishing business HR objective in line with organizational objectives.

1. Drive the implementation of group HR and IR policies and programs.

2. Lead digital transformation and automation of HR process.

3. Manage policies and programs relevant to employees entire life-cycle, implement

models from recruitment to goal setting, performance management, rewards and

recognition at business level.

1. Liaise with business function heads and business head to draft and implement

workforce planning strategy, ensure immediate filling of a vacant position with quality

candidate.

1. Track and ensure workmen availability basis units requirements

2. Monitoring of On Roll & Off Roll data to understand the Employee Category wise

trends.

Talent & Performance Management:

1. Create frameworks for identification of high potential employees and develop a career

succession plan, implement practices to retain such employees.

1. Ensure continuously evolving organization in terms of skills, capability, performance

and motivation to achieve the strategic goals of the company.

1. On time Initiative of Performance Management process to complete reward process

on time.

1. Drive organizational initiatives w.r.t. Talent Management.

P&A, IR and Employee Relations:

1. Liaise with local authorities and union representatives at plant sites to ensure smooth

operations at the site, provide swift resolution to their concerns and grievances.

1. Coordinate and consult with Group CHRO and COE teams to implement HR/IR policies,

relay business requirements to them and suggest improvements in existing policies.

1. Ensure to provide On Roll & Off Roll manpower as per plan to achieve production

targets and optimise manpower cost as per budget.

1. Conduct investigation and provide redressal.

2. Long Term Negotiations / Settlement in driving Productivity enhancement initiatives.

3. Drive Proactive IR to ensure zero IR downtime at plants.

4. Act upon findings of HR / P &A / IR Audits to ensure good governance.

5. Ensure Statutory Compliance of all the plants to avoid legal action & Liability.

6. Monitor & closure of Pending Legal cases to avoid liabilities.

7. Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a

positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee

morale and motivation by working closely with all business level COEs and HRBPs.

1. Establish regular feedback process to gauge motivation level of employees.

2. Monitor and execute engagement activity calendar and measuring satisfaction levels

to enhance engagement levels and action plan for improvement points.

1. Monitor Hygiene Factors of plants and its improvement for better employee

experience.

Learning & Development:

1. Implementing the learning and development strategy for the BU in line with Group L&D philosophy.

2. Identify training needs of the employees and craft a strategy to meet them, evaluate

effectiveness of training programs.

MIS & Reporting:

1. Preparing guidelines for BU HR Budget and monitoring the same regularly.

2. Conducting periodic reviews for adherence of process and correction of Gaps.

3. Monthly Review of the Budget Vs Actual for adherence and correction on Gaps

observed.
