Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of sales executives, setting clear goals, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Develop and implement long-term logistics strategies aligned with overall business objectives, optimizing resource allocation and improving operational efficiency.
  • Oversee and manage the logistics budget, controlling expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure seamless operations, competitive pricing, and reliable service.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and address potential challenges.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics activities, providing regular reports and insights to management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to logistics and transportation.
  • Proactively identify and resolve logistics-related issues, minimizing disruptions and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, developing contingency plans to address unforeseen circumstances.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing sales teams, strategy development, and achieving sales targets within a logistics or supply chain environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management principles.
