Role Overview:

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for
Anantech Ventures
. The role involves ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating with HR and Finance teams, handling employee queries, and maintaining payroll best practices suitable for a diverse workforce, including staff, factory workers, and contractual employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing


• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across different categories (staff, factory, contractual).


• Review and validate payroll inputs, deductions, overtime, and adjustments.


• Ensure timely salary disbursement in coordination with the Finance team.

Compliance & Statutory Management


• Ensure compliance with Indian statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, Bonus, LWF, etc.).


• Stay updated with labor laws, taxation, and payroll regulations relevant to the textile/manufacturing sector.


• Prepare and submit statutory returns as required.

Reporting & Documentation


• Generate monthly payroll reports for management, auditors, and statutory authorities.


• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records for internal reviews and audits.


• Support statutory and internal audits related to payroll.

Employee Support & Coordination


• Address and resolve employee payroll queries promptly and professionally.


• Collaborate with HR for attendance, leave records, and overtime tracking.


• Coordinate with external payroll vendors (if any) to ensure smooth operations.

Process Improvements


• Implement payroll system upgrades and recommend process enhancements.


• Leverage advanced Excel and payroll software for reconciliations and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:


• Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, HR, or related field.


• 5–8 years of payroll experience, preferably in the manufacturing or textile sector.


• Proficiency in payroll software (SAP, Tally, or other ERP systems).


• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliances.


• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and payroll reconciliation.


• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.

Work Conditions:


• Office-based role


• May require extended hours during payroll cut-off periods.
