We are seeking a qualified and detail-focused Quality Controller with a strong academic background in Biochemistry (M.Sc.) to join our hospital laboratory team. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with established quality standards, monitor laboratory processes, and contribute to the accuracy and reliability of diagnostic results. This position plays a vital role in upholding the highest standards of patient care through strict quality oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and implement quality control procedures for all laboratory operations
  • Monitor testing processes to ensure adherence to established protocols and regulatory standards
  • Perform routine audits, inspections, and documentation to maintain lab compliance
  • Collaborate with lab technicians to troubleshoot issues and improve test accuracy
  • Maintain records of quality control data, non-conformities, and corrective actions
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Stay updated with regulatory guidelines and participate in internal training programs
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance within the lab team

Qualifications:

Education:

  • M.Sc. in Biochemistry (mandatory)

Note:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar Quality Control/Assurance role in a laboratory setting
  • Only experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Candidates with B.Sc., Diploma in Lab Technology, or B.Voc degrees will not be considered for this role
