Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead Micro banking operations as a
Circle Head
in South India. The ideal candidate will bring over 12 years of proven experience in microfinance/micro banking, with strong expertise in managing large teams, driving business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing sustainable financial inclusion strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end Micro banking operations across multiple regions within South India.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a large field team including Cluster Heads, Branch Managers, and Credit Officers.
  • Drive business targets, portfolio growth, and customer acquisition while maintaining asset quality.
  • Ensure adherence to RBI and internal compliance norms.
  • Strengthen risk management and recovery processes.
  • Build strong community relationships and promote financial literacy initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product, credit, and audit teams to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in Micro banking/Microfinance, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of rural markets, customer segments, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within South India.
