Job Summary

The Front Office Manager will oversee the daily operations of the hotel's reception and guest service areas, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes, high-quality guest experiences, and efficient coordination with other departments. Responsible for staff management, revenue generation through upselling, and maintaining service standards for a 50+ room property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise front office staff (receptionists, bell desk, concierge, night auditors, etc.).
  • Ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out processes.
  • Maintain guest satisfaction by handling complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor room allocation, reservations, and occupancy levels in coordination with the Reservations team.
  • Implement upselling techniques to maximize room revenue and promote hotel services.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on front office performance and revenue.
  • Oversee cash handling, billing, and audit procedures.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance teams for seamless guest service.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate front office staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health & safety regulations, and local laws.
  • Maintain a welcoming, professional, and efficient front desk environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • 4–6 years of front office experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (Djubo, Ezee).
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage peak operational hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
