Job Summary
The Front Office Manager will oversee the daily operations of the hotel's reception and guest service areas, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes, high-quality guest experiences, and efficient coordination with other departments. Responsible for staff management, revenue generation through upselling, and maintaining service standards for a 50+ room property.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise front office staff (receptionists, bell desk, concierge, night auditors, etc.).
- Ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out processes.
- Maintain guest satisfaction by handling complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor room allocation, reservations, and occupancy levels in coordination with the Reservations team.
- Implement upselling techniques to maximize room revenue and promote hotel services.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on front office performance and revenue.
- Oversee cash handling, billing, and audit procedures.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance teams for seamless guest service.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front office staff to maintain high service standards.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health & safety regulations, and local laws.
- Maintain a welcoming, professional, and efficient front desk environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
- 4–6 years of front office experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Djubo, Ezee).
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage peak operational hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
