Job Summary:
The Distribution and Development Management Lead / Head of PMS is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of distribution networks and development initiatives within the organization. This role involves managing Project Management Services (PMS) to ensure operational efficiency, business growth, and alignment with corporate goals. The position requires a strong background in distribution strategy, project management, and business development.
Key Responsibilities:1. Distribution Management:
Develop and implement distribution strategies to maximize market penetration and efficiency.
Oversee logistics, supply chain operations, and channel management to ensure seamless product/service delivery.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners, distributors, and key stakeholders.
Monitor distribution performance metrics and optimize processes to improve cost-effectiveness.
Lead business expansion and development efforts, identifying new opportunities for growth.
Oversee market research and competitive analysis to support decision-making.
Drive strategic partnerships and alliances to expand the company's footprint.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Manage the Project Management Services (PMS) function, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Implement best practices in project management, including Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
Oversee resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Continuously evaluate project effectiveness and drive process improvements.
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Develop and execute training programs to enhance team capabilities.
Collaborate with internal departments, including sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment.
Ensure effective communication and reporting to senior management and key stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in distribution, business development, and project management, with leadership experience.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of supply chain and distribution strategies.
Proficiency in Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, SAP, etc.).
Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
Distribution efficiency metrics (e.g., cost per unit, on-time delivery).
Project completion rate and adherence to timelines.
