Sales Executive – Life Science Instruments (Delhi)

Role and Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell
     life science instruments (e.g., GEL DOC, Electrophoresis, Western Blot units, X-ray irradiators) to customers in research institutions, academic labs, and pharmaceutical/biotech industries.
  • Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities with potential clients.
  • Achieve and 
    exceed sales targets
     through relationship-based and consultative selling approaches.
  • Conduct 
    product presentations and demonstrations
     for new and existing customers.
  • Manage key accounts, nurture strong client relationships, and provide 
    after-sales support
    .
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and close deals.
  • Attend trade shows, seminars, and exhibitions to represent Spark Scientific and generate leads.
  • Understand and monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs for scientific instruments relevant to life science research.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports and use CRM software to manage leads and activities.

Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in 
    Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Chemistry
     or related fields.
  • 1-4 years' experience in scientific/laboratory instrument sales preferred.
  • Strong understanding of 
    scientific concepts
     and hands-on experience with life science instrument workflows is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and target-oriented.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation

  • As per industry standards; includes fixed plus incentive/commission structure.
