Hiring managers personal mission: To turn young scientists into commercial leaders who can talk science, sell value, and shape the way biotech research is done in India and across the world. What You’ll Do Learn the art and science behind Cambrian’s products — molecular biology, sample prep, NGS workflows, microscopy automation. Engage with research labs, biotech startups, hospitals, and diagnostic centers. Demonstrate products, understand customer workflows, and propose the right solution. Manage and grow leads through Cambrian’s proprietary market research data platform , which tracks and scores thousands of potential biotech customers across India. Use cutting-edge AI tools like Clay and GPT-powered assistants to automate prospecting, messaging, and reporting — staying at the bleeding edge of modern B2B growth engines. Collaborate with application scientists and product managers on field trials, demos, and case studies. Build strong relationships, close deals, and learn the art and science of selling with precision. It’s not just about selling our products, we enjoy every bit of the how and why of selling. Who You Are Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or relate d fields.Mindset: Curi ous, ambitious, entrepreneurial. You love science but are driven by results and growth.Skill s: Exce llent communication; confident with scientists; comfortable with data, CRM, and digital tools.Bonus : Expe rience in PCR, NGS, or molecular assays is a plus. Global Exposure: Collaborate with teams in the US, GCC, and Asia; attend international conferences; interface with world-class researchers. Mentorship: Direct mentorship from Cambrian founders and senior biotech sales leaders. Impact: Enable research and diagnostics that push the boundaries of human health. Roles and Responsibilities Lead Conversion: Follow up on marketing-generated leads to set up appointments, deliver compelling pitches, and close sales effectively. Cold Calling & Appointment Setting: Actively engage with prospects to generate leads and book meetings. Customer Development: Build strong relationships with customers to identify opportunities for new sales and repeat business. Thorough Follow-Up: Stay in consistent communication with prospects and customers to guide them through the sales funnel. Sales Execution: Convert technical demos and marketing pitches into successful deals by addressing customer needs and objections. Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment in messaging and strategy, attending initial pitch meetings when required. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain organized records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups using CRM tools. Market Feedback: Provide valuable insights to the marketing and product teams to enhance offerings and strategy.
