Job Description – Sales Valve Engineer (Middle & Senior Level)

Role Overview:

We are looking for experienced Sales Valve Engineers at Middle and Senior levels to drive business growth, manage key accounts, and expand our presence in the industrial valves market. The ideal candidates must have strong technical knowledge of valves and proven experience in industrial sales, OEMs, EPCs, or end-user segments.

Key Responsibilities (Middle Level):

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships within assigned regions.
  • Identify new business opportunities for valves and related products.
  • Prepare quotations, techno-commercial offers, and tender documents.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and service teams for order execution.
  • Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Track competitor pricing, market trends, and customer requirements.
  • Follow up on payments, order status, and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities (Senior Level):

  • Lead regional sales, key accounts, or product segments.
  • Drive customer acquisition, market expansion, and strategic business development.
  • Handle high-value proposals, techno-commercial negotiations, and closures.
  • Manage and guide the sales team to achieve targets.
  • Build strong relationships with EPCs, OEMs, consultants, and major end users.
  • Prepare annual sales budgets, forecasts, and business strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve escalated issues effectively.

Required Technical Knowledge:

  • Industrial valves: Ball, Butterfly, Gate, Globe, Check, Control, Actuated Valves.
  • Valve sizing, selection, standards, and P&ID understanding.
  • Applications in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharma, Water, Power, Process Industries.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Technical sales capability with customer-facing confidence.
  • CRM usage, market analysis, and proposal drafting.
  • Leadership and relationship-building (for senior roles).
  • Willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications & Experience:Middle Level:

  • Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3–6 years of experience in industrial valve sales or related products.

Senior Level:

  • BE Mechanical / Equivalent Technical Degree.
  • 7–15+ years of experience handling major accounts, EPCs, or large projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹150,000.00 per month
