Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
Accounts Manager
to oversee end-to-end financial operations at PictureTime. The ideal candidate will manage accounting, compliance, financial reporting, and support decision-making by providing timely and accurate financial insights. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Accounting & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts as per applicable standards (Ind AS/Companies Act).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

  • Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor ledgers, and inter-company accounts.

  • Budgeting & MIS

  • Assist management in preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and provide actionable insights to management.

  • Monitor project and event-based revenues and expenses (cinema screenings, partnerships, brand campaigns).

  • Compliance & Taxation

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, MCA filings, etc.).
  • Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors, prepare audit schedules and resolve queries.

  • Handle ROC filings, secretarial compliance support, and ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks.

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Oversee vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and expense tracking.

  • Ensure timely invoicing, follow-ups, and collection from partners, clients, and agencies.

  • Cash Flow & Fund Management

  • Monitor cash flows and working capital requirements.

  • Coordinate with banks/financial institutions for loans, disbursements, and fund management.

  • Team Leadership & Process Improvement

  • Lead and mentor a small finance/accounts team.
  • Drive automation and process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
  • 3-4 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in media, entertainment, or service industries.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel.
  • Prior exposure to investor reporting and fundraising support will be an added advantage.
