Job Description – Senior Accountant cum Manager

Position: Senior Accountant cum Manager

Location: 1, Pocket C, Sector 17 Dwarka, Dwarka, Delhi, 110075

Department: Finance & Administration

Reports to: Managing Director

Compensation:

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance (Senior Accountant role):

  • Manage complete accounting cycle including journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, and finalization of accounts.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow statements on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other regulatory filings.
  • Oversee payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and expense management.
  • Monitor budgets, cost control, and financial forecasting.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and banks for smooth financial operations.
  • Implement and maintain accounting systems, ERP, and internal controls.

Backend Management & Administration (Manager role):

  • Supervise day-to-day backend operations and ensure smooth workflow across departments.
  • Lead and manage documentation processes, filing systems, and record maintenance (physical & digital).
  • Oversee vendor management, procurement, and contract documentation.
  • Ensure timely reporting, correspondence, and follow-ups with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Support senior management in policy implementation and compliance monitoring.
  • Train and guide junior staff in accounting processes and office procedures.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data integrity.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software; exposure to ERP systems preferred.
  • Analytical thinking with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills under deadlines.
  • Ability to design and streamline backend processes for efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (CA/ICWA/CPA preferred).
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Prior experience in managing backend/admin operations will be an added advantage.
