Profile - Senior US Residential Mortgage Underwriter  Location - Chennai  Experience - 4+ years of relevant years in US Residential Mortgage Underwriting Shift - US Shift (One way cab facility) Notice Immediate Joiner Only Job Responsibilities Ability to manually underwrite complex transactions to ensure the loan meets established guidelinesUnderwriter should have the ability to read the guidelines to determine whether each loan meets the requisite guideline as specified by the ClientShould know how to run the AUS and verify the data integrity of the Desktop UW / Loan ProspectorReview the Employment Guideline RequirementsPerform Income calculations (salaried / Self -employed / Rental / Other Incomes)Validate all types of Assets including 401K, Bank Statements, Mutual funds, etc.Usage of Assets against Income requirement/qualificationCalculate Debt -to -Income Ratio, Loan -to -value Ratio, Housing PaymentReview appraisal and perform Property Valuation and use property valuation toolsReview Credit Reports including Credit Scores, Existing liens, payments, etc.,Should also review the alternate / support documents for credit review Title review and lien validationsReview loan details in Loan applications, Letters of explanation, and gift lettersIncome verification on Bank statement loansClient -specific guideline review with alternate documentationUnderstanding of Counter offer and Solutions to the loanReview of compliance documents Requirements Must have 4+ experience into US Residential Mortgage Underwriting Must be flexible with the shift timings Must be ready to relocate to Chennai Must be available for immediate joining only
