Job Summary We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented fresh graduates to join our Underwriting team As an Underwriting Trainee you will support the risk assessment and decision-making processes for insurance products This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in the BPO sector with on-the-job training and exposure to industry-standard practices Key Responsibilities Assist senior underwriters in reviewing and analyzing applications for insurance or loan products Evaluate risk based on client data documents and internal guidelines Input and maintain accurate data in underwriting systems Coordinate with sales operations and compliance teams for additional information or clarification Help ensure timely processing of applications within SLA timelines Learn and apply underwriting policies procedures and tools Prepare basic reports or summaries for underwriter review Maintain confidentiality and comply with regulatory and company standards Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Commerce Finance Business Administration Economics or a related field Freshers or candidates with relevant internship are welcome Good typing skills Proficient in MS Office Excel Word Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and organized with a willingness to learn Location Chennai Willingness to work in shifts including night shifts Note This is a Contract Hiring for 0 6- 1 year based on the performance you will be absorbed on the roles of the Company
