Job Role: Installation Trainer

Location: Pune

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Installation Trainer to join our team and play a key role in training and developing our installation workforce. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering structured training programs on modular kitchen installation, ensuring adherence to company standards, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for installation technicians focused on modular kitchen components (carcass, shutters, hardware, appliances, etc.)
  • Conduct hands-on and theoretical training sessions at the training center and on-site.
  • Evaluate the technical capabilities of new and existing installers through assessments and performance audits.
  • Develop SOPs and training materials including manuals, checklists, videos, and certification tools.
  • Ensure alignment with design accuracy, safety protocols, and quality assurance processes.
  • Monitor field installations for quality control and provide on-the-job training when required.
  • Maintain training records and provide regular reports on training effectiveness and technician readiness.
  • Support in onboarding of new installation partners and freelancers.
  • Collaborate with design and operations teams to resolve installation challenges and implement best practices.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in modular kitchen installation or related industry.
  • Experience in Modular industry is MANDATORY.
  • Strong knowledge of modular furniture, site management, and installation tools.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using MS Office and creating visual training materials.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and training delivery.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience as a trainer or mentor in the modular/furniture industry.
  • Ability to handle multiple training batches across regions.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection and customer satisfaction metrics.
