We are hiring a proactive and result-oriented Team Leader – Telecalling . You'll be responsible for driving recovery targets, monitoring call quality, ensuring compliance, and supporting team performance through regular coaching and guidance. The ideal candidate knows how to balance empathy with firmness and turn call scripts into recovered dues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of telecalling executives involved in debt recovery.
  • Allocate daily calling lists and monitor call volume and outcomes.
  • Ensure the team meets recovery targets, follow-up commitments, and adherence to timelines.
  • Provide on-the-spot coaching and support to agents struggling with objections or escalations.
  • Monitor individual and team performance metrics: number of calls, promise-to-pay (PTP), conversion rate, and recovery rate.
  • Generate and share daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports with management.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-ones to discuss performance, challenges, and improvements.
  • Manage escalated customer cases professionally and ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with skip-tracing teams and backend operations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in telecalling/collections, with at least 1 year in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Verbal communication skills in Tamil and English.
  • Ability to motivate and discipline a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of debt recovery processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and telecalling systems (dialers, call log software).
  • Basic data management and Excel skills.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Tough but tactful—knows how to handle pressure and drive results without micromanaging.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Firm understanding of ethical and lawful recovery practices.
  • Experience in collections related to credit cards, loans, or utilities is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
