Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Architectural Draughtsman to assist in the preparation of technical drawings and plans under the supervision of senior architects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of architectural design principles, proficiency in drafting software, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare architectural drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting tools.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents and presentation drawings.
  • Update and revise drawings based on feedback from architects or engineers.
  • Maintain and organize drawing files and documentation.
  • Conduct site visits to collect measurements and assist in design verification.
  • Ensure all drawings adhere to building codes, regulations, and company standards.
  • Support senior team members in design development and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams to integrate design components.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in architectural drafting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or BIM tools is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of architectural detailing, construction methods, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
  • Internship or practical training in an architectural office.
  • Exposure to Revit
