Role & responsibilities

Sales

  • To look after a defined territory - HQ and/or nearby towns servicing distributors
  • To visit retail market regularly as per the given PJP/ Beat plan for a particular market/ town
  • To visit all potential retailers through respective Distributor/s for minimum 20 days in a month
  • Area reporting at Schedule time, report through SFA app
  • To carry sample bag containing top sellers, focused & new articles
  • To achieve minimum of total 20 calls per day
  • Ensure proper display of Condor products in retailer store
  • Install display material from Condor in a prominent place in retailer store.
  • To demonstrate focused & new articles & collect secondary orders
  • To achieve minimum 70% productive calls
  • To collect secondary orders and punch in SFA application
  • To give orders to distributors
  • To keep track of dispatches from distributors to retailers
  • To cover the given territory extensively in order to add new outlets
  • To ensure retail universe coverage & expansion through top sellers or NPDs
  • To define and maintain business at key outlets
  • To travel extensively in all markets of the given territory

Market Trend

  • To collect and submit information on competitive articles in respect to marketing Ps
  • Collect/Purchase sample of competitive brands (if articles are fast moving) in their area and send sample to RO/HO (as informed)
  • Be self-aware of the new articles of the company & create same awareness to distributor and retailer in terms of sharing product briefs
  • Keep track of trade schemes offered by the competitors

Prospecting

  • To assist and distribution footprint expansion

(a) Keep track of parties interested to take distribution of any of our product line

(b) If interested (if any) report to RO/HO (as informed)

(c) Market mapping to identify new distributor as per agreed expansion plan.

(d) Keep a background check of the same - Area, reputation, financial ability etc.

Reporting

  • To meet ASM by EOD and report on days working & achievements
  • Discuss & finalize schedule for next days plan personally or over call.
  • To report pendency of secondary orders at distributor level to ASM
  • To report fast moving article/s requirement to ASM

Claims

  • To assist ASM in the physical verification of claims pairs (if any) as per the policy
  • Take pictures & videos using high-resolution camera of self-damaging the claim pairs completely in order to avoid repeat claims of articles once claimed

Branding at Outlets

  • To ensure visual merchandising (POP etc.) is taken care to create maximum impact at retail
  • To ensure In-shop branding through box stacking for increasing brand visibility in order to increase customer awareness
  • To Convince retailers for product display

Others

  • To assist and support ASM towards clearance of outstanding dues
  • Complete other official work delegated by senior within the frame work of aforesaid points
  • Inventory audit at distributor point as and when required
  • Promptly catering to the needs of the business that evolves pertaining to the larger scope of work such as special projects
