Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Client Servicing and Business Development functions. This leadership role involves overseeing business growth strategies, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of events and publications.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Servicing

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams.
  • Understand client goals and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
  • Manage client accounts, including contract negotiations and renewals.

Event & Publication Coordination

  • Oversee the planning and execution of trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and logistics for events and publications.
  • Ensure content quality and relevance for industry publications.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of client servicing and business development professionals.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7-12 years of experience in business development and client servicing within the exhibitions or events industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large-scale events.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with prior experience at leading exhibition and event companies such as ABEC, Messe Frankfurt, Informa, Bharat Exhibitions, Wow Events, Messe Muenchen, MEX Exhibitions, or WootFactor will be given preference.
