Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Strategy:

  4. Creating and overseeing the execution of both short-term and long-term financial plans.

  5. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  6. Preparing, managing, and monitoring the company's budget and forecasts, ensuring financial discipline and efficient resource allocation.

  7. Analyzing variances and making adjustments to budgets and forecasts as needed.

  8. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  9. Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other financial documents.

  10. Analyzing financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.

  11. Communicating financial performance to stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and senior management.

  12. Risk Management:

  13. Identifying and assessing financial risks, including market volatility, currency fluctuations, and credit risk.

  14. Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate financial risks and ensure the company's financial stability.

  15. Cash Flow Management:

  16. Ensuring the company has adequate cash flow to meet its operational needs and financial obligations.

  17. Monitoring and managing accounts receivable and accounts payable to optimize cash flow.

  18. Regulatory Compliance:

  19. Ensuring the company complies with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.

  20. Staying up-to-date on changes in financial regulations and implementing necessary changes.

  21. Leadership and Team Management:

  22. Building and leading a high-performing finance team.

  23. Providing guidance and support to team members.

  24. Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  25. Technology Adoption:

  26. Embracing and integrating new technologies to improve financial processes and decision-making.

  27. Leveraging data analytics and automation to enhance efficiency and gain deeper insights into financial performance.

  28. Stakeholder Management:

  29. Communicating with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders on the company's financial performance and strategy.

  30. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Competencies Required:

  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, capital structuring, and aligning finance strategy with business goals.
  • Knowledge of taxation, corporate governance, and statutory requirements.
  • Strong in financial risk management, internal controls, and audit frameworks.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams with integrity and strategic vision.
  • Understanding of operations, market dynamics, and stakeholder management.
  • Clear and persuasive reporting to Board, authorities, and investors.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Qualified CA with 15 to 20 years experience in reputed organisations, preferably in ISP/Telecom industry with minimum 5 years in leadership roles.
