Job Summary:

A Chartered Accountant having minimum experience of 12+ year working as Head of Finanace & Accounts Department. Must be well versed with accounting standards and statutory compliance requirements. Responsible for preparing and finalizing balance sheets and financial statements strictly in line with applicable accounting regulatory standards.

Prior experience in the real estate sector will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finalizing year-end financial statements, including balance sheets and profit/loss accounts.

  • Coordinating with auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, including GST and sales tax.

  • Handling corporate taxation matters, including tax planning and assessments.

  • Managing residential projects, including contract management, budgeting, and accounting.

  • Advising project teams on financial matters and ensuring compliance with investor requirements.

  • Preparing financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning.

  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Managing cash flows and ensuring cost-effective funding.

  • Preparing and maintaining statutory books of accounts.

  • Developing tax strategies to optimize the organization's tax position.

  • Evaluating revenue streams and identifying opportunities for revenue optimization.

  • Leading and mentoring accounts teams.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of preference given of in Real Estate Industry applicant.

Skills:

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and spoken English language skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior management and external partners.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, financial modelling tools, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Additional Abilities: Detail-oriented, proactive, with a strong ethical grounding and the ability to work under deadlines.
