MUST HAVE

• Experience you have in Indian Accounting Standards / IFRS
• Handled cross border transactions between group companies and managed FEMA compliances
• Third party costs negotiations
• Managing statutory auditors, and internal auditors

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

• This includes GAAP, SOX, and other relevant regulations.
• Overseeing the month-end closing process: This involves reconciling accounts, adjusting entries, and preparing financial statements.
• Managing intercompany activities and consolidations: This includes preparing consolidated financial statements and managing intercompany transactions.
• Ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting: This includes preparing and filing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Direct & Indirect Taxation:

• Ensuring timely and accurate filing of various tax returns, including income tax, GST, and other indirect taxes, as well as ensuring adherence to all tax laws and regulations.
• Providing internal tax advisory services, identifying tax-saving opportunities, and helping the organization navigate complex tax laws
• Staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and providing insights to the organization.

Operations and Control:

• Developing and implementing internal controls:
• This includes establishing policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure that financial data is accurate and timely.
• Evaluating and improving accounting software and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Coordinating with auditors:

• This involves preparing for audits, providing documentation, and addressing audit findings.

Strategic Support:

• Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions.
• Keeping abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

Job Responsibilities

MIS & Accounting Responsibility:

• Responsible for Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financial Reporting.
• Consolidate project level accounts/MIS to generate Consolidated MIS statements.
• Monthly Management reporting of PBT, Cash Flow, Booking Value, Collection and Net Cash Flow numbers of all the MMR projects
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
• Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
• Assist in developing the accounting procedures, systems and norms at the project sites and to ensure consolidation of accounts from sites
• Attending statutory auditors and internal auditors for all financial reporting and Internal Control compliances.

Financial Reporting:

• Coordinate and prepare rolling Forecast and variance analysis
• Assist in Short range and Long range planning exercise
• Approval and reporting of related party transaction
• Analysis of MIS and Financial statement

Business Partnering and Influence:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business, operations, and HR.
• Presenting financial and operational analysis to senior management.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve finance processes and tools.

Strategic Support:

• Assisting in IPO preparation.
• Developing and implementing financial strategies.
• Providing financial advice to support strategic decision-making.
• Influencing senior leaders by linking finance and business strategies.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, including local, state, and federal requirements.
