Sr. Sales Executive – Solar Industry

Primary Responsibilities: We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sr. Sales Executive to join our Solar Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) business in India. The Sales Executive will play a key role in driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers in the renewable energy sector.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in B2B/B2C sales, preferably within the renewable energy or solar industry.
- Strong knowledge of solar energy products, services, and market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- A passion for sustainability and clean energy solutions.
Job Description:
Sales Development:
- Identify and target new business opportunities, both commercial and Industrial, within the solar market.
- Generation of quality leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and trends and develop tailored sales strategies.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, offering expert advice on solar solutions.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring quick resolution.
Product Knowledge & Presentations:
- Stay up to date with the latest solar technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate solar products and services based on their needs and budget.
Negotiation & Closing Deals:
- Present and negotiate pricing proposals, contracts, and terms to prospective clients.
- Close sales and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth installation and service delivery.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client information in the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales reports for management and track progress toward targets.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in sales and business development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
