Job Summary

The Vendor Management professional will be responsible for sourcing, onboarding, evaluating, and maintaining relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, compliance, and timely delivery. This role involves coordination across multiple internal departments to optimize vendor performance and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement vendor management strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors based on company requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
  • Monitor vendor performance using KPIs (quality, delivery, service, compliance).
  • Maintain and update vendor databases, documentation, and contracts.
  • Conduct periodic vendor reviews and audits to ensure compliance with policies and SLAs.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams for smooth vendor interactions.
  • Resolve vendor-related issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vendor relationships and efficiency.
  • Ensure all vendor management activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
  • MBA or relevant certification (CIPS, CPSM, etc.) is a plus.
