Position Summary:

Under supervision, fact-checks and executes client head sign off emails, proofreads articles, figures, reports, manuscripts and other printed and web materials.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Executes, tracks, and documents the sign off process for all named client companies.
  • Incorporates suggested changes from client guardians, in consultation with marketer, market reputation team member, and author team point of contact.
  • Collaborates with teammates in Delhi, EMEA, SEA, and US to ensure client relationships are protected.
  • Communicates the status of each project to manager and with each relevant Marketing colleague on each project's "teamlet."
  • Participate in weekly Global team pipeline review and market reputation content review meetings with outside vendor.
  • Fact checks Market Reputation content for accuracy of hard data and contextual/narrative statements (as needed).
  • Proofreads all formats of Market Reputation content for grammar, spelling, punctuation and Bain style to ensure zero-defect published materials (as needed).
  • Develops ability to fill in for other team members on holidays and vacations.
  • Develops understanding of business and economic topics through reading global news.

Qualifications:

  • Atleast 3 years of experience in Editorial role
  • Degree in Journalism, Communications, Research, or related field
  • Ability to be extremely detail-oriented while juggling multiple projects at various stages of production.
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques, ability to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ChatGPT or other AI tools
