SEO Specialist
to help us optimize our visibility and audience engagement across search engines.

Job Description

As our in-house
SEO Specialist
, you'll work closely with our editorial, tech, and content teams to
develop and implement SEO strategies
that drive organic traffic, increase visibility, and improve rankings for our articles and pages.

You'll be responsible for both
on-page and off-page SEO
, keyword research, content optimization, reporting, and keeping up with the latest algorithm updates and SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform
    keyword research
    and guide content teams on target keywords for articles, landing pages, and headlines.
  • Optimize website structure, meta tags, and content for
    on-page SEO
    .
  • Conduct regular
    SEO audits
    and work with developers to fix technical issues (site speed, indexing, sitemaps, schema).
  • Build and execute
    link-building strategies
    (ethical & white-hat).
  • Monitor
    Google Analytics, Search Console
    , and other SEO tools to analyze performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay up to date with
    Google algorithm changes
    and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Collaborate with editorial team to ensure
    SEO-driven content planning
    .
  • Prepare
    monthly SEO reports
    and performance summaries.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in
    SEO for content-heavy or news websites
    .
  • Deep understanding of
    on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
    .
  • Hands-on experience with tools like
    Google Analytics, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
    , etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of
    WordPress or CMS platforms
    .
  • Knowledge of
    schema markup, Core Web Vitals
    , and mobile-first indexing.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and manage time effectively in a remote setup.
