Role Description

We are looking for an experienced
SEO Specialist
(
full-time on-site role)
to join our team (
located in Delhi, India)
and take ownership of search optimization for our
U.S.-based pet brand – PetYupp
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving our
website visibility
,
organic traffic
, and
product ranking
on
Amazon and Walmart marketplaces
.

Specialist will work closely with the marketing team to enhance the company's online presence and drive more organic traffic to the website.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and conversions on

    .
  • Optimize
    product listings
    , titles, descriptions, and keywords for
    Amazon and Walmart
    .
  • Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and backlink strategy planning.
  • Improve website on-page SEO (meta tags, schema, page speed, alt tags, etc.).
  • Coordinate with content and design teams to align SEO best practices.
  • Track and report performance metrics (rankings, CTR, conversion rate, etc.).
  • Stay updated with algorithm updates and marketplace SEO trends.

Requirements:

  • Proven 2–4 years of experience in SEO (E-commerce & Marketplace optimization).
  • Strong understanding of SEO tools – Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Helium10, etc.
  • Experience with
    Shopify SEO
    and
    Amazon/Walmart Seller Central
    optimization.
  • Knowledge of HTML, site structure, and content strategy.
  • Good understanding of U.S. e-commerce audience and keyword trends.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

  • Experience with paid ads (Google, Meta, or Amazon PPC).
  • Knowledge of schema markup and technical SEO.
  • Understanding of content writing and keyword-driven blog strategy.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO
  • Experience in conducting SEO Audits and implementing findings
  • Strong skills in Link Building strategies
  • Knowledge of Web Analytics tools and techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience in the Pet Care industry is a plus
