Role Overview

The
Senior Insights Manager
will play a strategic leadership role in managing multi-market research programs, guiding clients through the entire research lifecycle—from problem definition to insights delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of research methodologies (qualitative, quantitative, hybrid, and tech-enabled), client engagement, operational excellence, and a strong ability to connect insights with business outcomes.

The ideal candidate is an
insights strategist, problem-solver, and team collaborator
with a strong network in the research industry and proven experience across diverse sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client & Project Leadership

  2. Own client communication from brief to delivery; act as the primary insights and strategy partner.

  3. Understand client objectives, translate them into clear research frameworks, and ensure actionable outcomes.
  4. Assess project complexity, develop detailed proposals and budgets, and align with vendor and internal teams.
  5. Collaborate with sales and operations to co-create pitches and client deliverables.
  6. Ensure seamless execution across all project stages—design, fieldwork, data processing, and insight generation.

2. Research Design & Methodology

  • Design and oversee multi-market studies across India, Asia, and international markets.
  • Recommend suitable methodologies—quantitative, qualitative, hybrid, and digital-first approaches.
  • Draft and review research instruments (questionnaires, discussion guides, logic flows).
  • Provide consultative input to clients on study structure, sampling, and data validation strategies.
  • Ensure methodological rigor and ethical data practices across all studies.

3. Insights & Analysis

  • Lead the synthesis of data into meaningful, decision-oriented insights.
  • Work closely with the Data Analytics and Insights teams to interpret findings and identify strategic narratives.
  • Review logic, validate datasets, and collaborate on advanced analysis (segmentation, MaxDiff, conjoint, etc.).
  • Guide the creation of compelling presentations and reports that tell a clear, visual, and actionable story.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the Operations, Field, and Data Processing teams to ensure efficient execution and quality control.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Vendor Management to evaluate and onboard new partners or tech integrations.
  • Align internal capabilities with client expectations to deliver scalable, high-quality outcomes.

5. Industry Networking & Though Leadership

  • Leverage and expand Biobrain's network across agencies, brands, and research communities.
  • Represent Biobrain at industry events, panels, and thought leadership forums.
  • Stay ahead of evolving research technologies, tools, and global trends to drive innovation internally.

Required Qualifications & Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of experience in
    market research, consumer insights, or consulting
    .
  • Proven track record of working with
    leading brands, agencies, and multinational clients
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    both domestic (India/Asia)
    and
    international (APAC, EU, US)
    research programs.
  • Strong grasp of
    multiple research methodologies
    —ad hoc, tracking, U&A, brand equity, concept testing, pricing, segmentation, etc.
  • Familiarity with
    online/offline and hybrid data collection methods
    , including modern tech-enabled research platforms.
  • Strong analytical thinking and comfort with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience in vendor management, cost negotiations, and project budgeting.
  • Technologically savvy—comfortable integrating new tools and automation into workflows.
  • Ethical, dependable, and collaborative—capable of leading with integrity and a futuristic mindset. Demonstrated success in securing and growing multi-million-dollar accounts with global clients.
  • Strong understanding of both
    traditional and digital research methodologies
    .
  • Proven ability to sell complex, insight-driven solutions to Fortune 500 and high-growth companies.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
