The Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing and driving sales performance within a specific geographic area. The role involves developing sales strategies, achieving targets, supervising the sales team, maintaining strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key customers, and ensuring effective market penetration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share.
  • Supervise, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential markets.
  • Manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and key clients.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Coordinate with marketing and product teams to plan promotional activities.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in FMCG, retail, or related sectors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends.
  • Result-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40, ₹60,000.00 per month
